This is the story about Gypsy who are living in Romania.
I was shocked to watch this documentary.
because they live in terrible circumstance.
The Gypsy village is poor and bad hygiene.
One of the Gypsy lady, she is 17 years old, escaped the village and went to the shelter with her relatives. But she was kicked out from the shelter, so she had to live to old train station with her own three children. One of them is still in her body.
Another girl, she is 16 years old, had no chance to go to school because she had to work for her family. It is very hard to escape from this recycling poor.
Not only young girl but also handicapped Gypsy people have a hard situation. No social benefit system for Gypsy people.
Why Gypsy people have this tough situation in this 21st century?
Because there is discrimination for Gypsy. This discrimination is not only in Romania but almost in European country.
Actually I saw Gypsy village and met some Gypsy people in Nis, Serbia, in Sarajevo, Bosnia.
In Serbia, in my opinion, thee are no discrimination for Asians. When I was in Serbia, I have no discrimination because I am Asian. Of course sometime South Serbian people cheated some money from me. But this is not because I’m an Asian. It’s because I’m a foreigner.
But I have to say, there is discrimination for Gypsy in Serbia and in Bosnia.
I wonder, if Gypsy people have their own language and letters, Gypsy people have more comfortable life.
Gypsy people has not their own language, I think. But they have a good culture and hard regional brief. They love music very much. They believe a kind of Orthodox church strong.
This documentary show many Gypsy children. They are really lovely, cute, and adorable. How to save them from this recycling poor. Education is the one of the keywords.
